Last Saturday and Sunday, the 13th and 14th of December, Joel Anthony Abraham participated in a "Nailing the Audition" workshop conducted by L.A.casting director Dean Fronk.
Joel performed in four different scenes throughout the two-day workshop, and was complimented on his work by Fronk, who called one of his portrayals a "heartbreaker."

In a conference call this afternoon, L.A. casting director Cathy Henderson told Joel Anthony Abraham, "You have an absolute natural ability to be funny. You get it, you know, you get that Napolean Dynamite kind of character."
She went on to say, "I would market yourself as kind of a funny, sardonic Napolean Dynamite type of guy. That, I think, is your strong suit right now." She told Joel, "These are guys that are very hard to find, a Michael Cera, Jon Heder, possibly a Matthew Brodrick type from Ferris Beuhler."

This morning and afternoon, Joel Anthony Abraham participated in the "Double Shot Weekend Workout" conducted by Price Hall and Eb Lottimer.
Joel continues to hone his craft in this and other workshops, acting classes and regular practice.

For the second consecutive month, Joel Anthony Abraham was a participant in the "Double Shot Weekend Workout" conducted by Price Hall and Eb Lottimer.
Joel performed the role of Roy in Lottimer's screenplay, "Don't Tell, Baby." (It was a different scene than last month's session.)
Sunday's workshop was the eighth workshop Joel has taken over the past two years. He has also studied in weekly classes with Price Hall's "The Natural Act" for more than a year, and performed in both of "The Natural Act's" monologue showcases.

A regular workshop favorite, Joel Anthony Abraham attended the eight-hour "Double Shot Weekend Workout" conducted by Price Hall and Eb Lottimer yesterday.
Joel performed a scene from "Don't Tell, Baby" in the role of Roy with SAG actress Seri De Young.
Sunday's workshop was the seventh workshop Joel has taken over the past two years. He has also studied in weekly classes with Price Hall's "The Natural Act" for more than a year, and performed in both of "The Natural Act's" monologue showcases.
