DOTTIE CORONA DOES AN "EXCELLENT JOB" AT DEAN FRONK'S "NAILING THE AUDITION" WORKSHOP

Last Saturday and Sunday, the 13th and 14th of December, Dottie Corona participated in a two-day "Nailing the Audition" workshop conducted by L.A.casting director Dean Fronk.
Dottie performed in four different scenes throughout the workshop, and was complimented on her work by Fronk, who told Dottie she did an "excellent job."

"It's so exciting"
In a conference call this afternoon, L.A. casting director Cathy Henderson told Dottie Corona, "The very first thing is that you've really improved. What's happening now is that you have no nerves showing. You've learned to internalize that and allow your work to show. You're getting so good now, it's so exciting. Your improvement is huge. Huge."
"The hairs sat up on my arms"
Henderson went on to critique Dottie's work on a scene from "I Am Sam." She said "You were very moving in this scene. You were one hundred per cent there. I didn't say ninety-nine. You were one hundred per cent there in the scene. The pain is understandable. The second half was great. You were so full of self-pity and anger. You voice quavered at the end. Oh, My God, the hairs sat up on my arms, and I almost started crying. You absolutely conveyed the deepest of emotions.

This morning and afternoon, Dottie Corona participated in the "Double Shot Weekend Workout" conducted by Price Hall and Eb Lottimer.
Dottie continues to improve her work through this and other workshops, acting classes and regular practice.

DOTTIE CORONA RETURNS TO DOUBLE SHOT WEEKEND WORKOUT

Dottie Corona participated in the second eight-hour "Double Shot Weekend Workout" conducted by Price Hall and Eb Lottimer yesterday.
She played the part of Rosemund in the screenplay "Artists Die Best in Black," scripted by Hall.
Sunday's workshop was the eighth workshop Dottie has taken over the past two years. She has also studied in weekly classes with Price Hall's "The Natural Act" for more than a year, and performed in both of "The Natural Act's" monologue showcases.

Adding to her training, Dottie Corona attended the eight-hour "Double Shot Weekend Workout" conducted by Price Hall and Eb Lottimer yesterday.
Dottie performed a scene from "Don't Tell, Baby." She played the role of Ruth Hatly.
Sunday's workshop was the seventh workshop Dottie has taken over the past two years. She has also studied in weekly classes with Price Hall's "The Natural Act" for more than a year, and performed in both of "The Natural Act's" monologue showcases.
